LAN airlines has announced that on April 29 it will begin offering direct flights from Lima, Peru to Cartagena, Colombia. Passengers will be able to travel between the two countries twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays.
LAN representative explained the decision to offer this flight was based on the companies plan to expand its flight destinations. It has been estimated that at least 14,000 passengers will benefit from this new flight destination. |

The planes to be used to transport passengers are a fleet of Airbus A319, which each have a capacity for 144 passengers.
Flights have been scheduled to leave Lima at 12:40 p.m. and arrive to Cartagena at 4:10 p.m. When leaving Colombia, flights will depart at 7:45 p.m. and arrive to Peru at 11:10 p.m.
Aside from Lima, flights from Cartagena will arrive to 11 other Peruvian cities.
