This Church was built because of a vision seen by the wife of the renowned Colombian President Don Rafael Nuņez. It is located across from the Nuņez residence (The Museum of Rafael Nuņez) which is in the upper class neighborhood of "El Cabrero". This complex is just a four minute walk outside of the walled city. Mr. And Mrs. Nuņez are buried within this church which serves as a cornerstone of the adjoining park.
