One
of the oldest and most imposing architectural religious groupings in
the city. The Church is undergoing massive restoration. The adjoining
Convento Santo Domingo, unfortunately, is closed to the public.
Begun
in 1570, and planned for completion in 10 years, Santo Domingo was finally
finished two centuries later.
